• Interesting piece from Mintlify on llms.txt. Docs, like APIs, have to evolve in the world of LLMs. Its a totally different optimization than SEO, and from a usage perspective a welcome one.

General Interest

• Microsoft unveils Majorana 1, the world’s first quantum processor powered by topological qubit. I’m a little giddy about this one, I wrote about Microsoft elevating pure science to being front and center of MS Ignite way back in 2017 at RedMonk. The outputs are long in coming, but potentially huge.

Data

• The 2024 State of Rust Survey dropped a few days. Rust is a language . The majority of users are developing on Linux for low level or embedded systems. VS Code and vim are the most popular IDE and editor, but its interesting to see the big growth in Zed. But given Zed is written in Rust you can see the synergies there.
